Well, there's really no such thing as just one more year.


Because that slaughters recruiting.

What I mean is, you'll hear one of two things: (1) that Dennis is being let go, or (2) that Dennis is receiving a contract extension.

No AD worth his salt -- and Whit is one of the best -- brings a coach back for the final year of his contract without an extension. Because it makes recruiting impossible -- there's no guarantee that the coach is coming back, so why would a player sign?
